A little bit about who we are.
Jenine is a photographer who seeks to create images that are authentic and timeless. She has been photographing creative portraits & weddings
since 2011
She feels her decade of teaching in a high school classroom helps her capture the unique personalities of teens and young adults. She seeks to photograph them in a way that enables them to feel confident and beautiful. Jenine still cries at weddings and considers it an honor to be chosen to capture such an important highlight in someone’s life.
She is inquisitive by nature and is always exploring new ways to chase and use light. She enjoys making people laugh, and she’s not afraid to get dirty or take a risk if it means getting the shot.
When she is not photographing amazing people, places, and things, she is at home with her husband Adam and their two daughters. She enjoys listening to unreasonably loud music, spending time outdoors at her rural home and all things colorful and prismatic.

About Yvette
Yvette has a real passion for anything that grows and spends an incredible amount of time tending the half acre of landscape that she loves. She also spends more money on it than she will ever admit to her husband. A lover of all things involving color, she is an artist who paints realistic watercolors and details sketches in pencil and pen and ink.
She has been a graphic designer for over 34 years working for corporations in a wide range of deliverables. Fluent in the Adobe suite, she incorporates her experience to help Firefly Studio with all of the product offerings.
Her love of photography started when documenting her children growing up. She loves capturing ordinary moments and making them something to remember. Being a visual person, she is constantly looking for the perfect location, style or pose to share with Jenine. Lastly, she is extremely happy and proud to be working with her beautiful and talented daughter, Jenine.
