We challenge ourselves to make each portrait session unique. This means we work to get to know our seniors in order to tailor their senior portrait experience to them. We assist in outfits elections , styling, scouting locations and product selection to ensure a memorable senior portrait experience. We seek to provide exceptional customer service and high quality prints and products .
We seek to create unique yet timeless images that show your best you. Our editing style is clean, colorful and sharp. We employ a variety of on-location lighting techniques and expert posing to bring your images to life. We love to create dramatic shots using dynamic lighting, perfect for highlighting athletes, dancers and or that favorite formal gown. Whether you are looking for soft and dreamy natural light for a boho summer session or a dynamic edgy look to showcase your athleticism in action. We are eager to put our skills in action for you.
Yes. Our studio is located at 120 W. Lafayette in Rushville. Our main entrance is behind the exterior of the South Side Salon on the downtown Rushville Square.
We started photographing seniors in 2011.
We shoot senior sessions year round. Our highest volume seasons are Fall, Summer and Spring. My favorite season is shoot sessions is summer for two reasons. Summer days are long giving us more of that lovely warm light and everything is lush.. It is important to consider how busy your senior will be once school starts. It can be difficult to maneuver around sports camps, practices and games. As well as parades, dances, contests , concerts and the like. Scheduling your session is key. Please don’t wait!
In the event of bad weather, we will keep in touch throughout the day. We will come up with a date to reschedule if needed. There is no charge for rescheduling a shoot in these instances. Weather happens and I want to be as accommodating as possible.
Your session fee covers the time and talent of the photographer; no prints or digital files are included in the session fee.
Sign the contract and pay the session fee. We accept cash, check or credit card (via Stripe and Paypal) payments .
We are constantly on the lookout for new locations but we have several locations that consistently make great backdrops. Prior to your session we will discuss what you have envisioned for your session. We often ask that you email or text us photos of the outfits you would like to wear. Using this info we make location suggestions to you and receive your final input.

We take cash, check and credit card. A retainer is required to book your date. You will be asked to fill-out a wedding inquiry form as well as sign and return a contract for our services. Once received, the day is yours!
On average, 100 images per hour of wedding coverage with two photographers. For instance, for an 8 hour wedding day you can expect to receive approximately 800 images.

We have a clean editing style. Styles and trends in photography come and go quickly, but your wedding photos will be passed down for generations. We want them to stand the test of time and capture the real look and feel of your wedding day so we have chosen a true to life editing style.

All kids are sent home with a half sheet of paper with a unique access code. You can scan the QR code or enter the access code manually at fireflystudio.gotphoto.com. If you have an email on file with your child’s school you may also receive an email notification letting your know their photos are ready.
Yes! You can lookup your code using your email address here. If you are unable to locate it using the code lookup site please contact us and we can look it up for you.
Batch shipping means that all orders are collected and sent to the lab as a group after the batch deadline has closed. These orders will be delivered to the school/league for distribution. It’s important to remember that if you place an order on the first day of the batch it will not be processed until after the batch deadline. Batching shipping is free. In contrast, direct ship orders are drop mailed to the address you provide and you pay for the shipping, usually $5.50-8.25 depending on the order.
Its an 8×10 print that is customized with your athlete’s name, individual photo & team photo.
Memory mates come in packages so whichever image you choose for your magnets or button is the same image that will be displayed on your Memory Mate.
All photos must be processed by our studio before being loaded into the system for ordering. We are a small local business with a staff of two so please be patient with us, especially during the busy fall season. I assure you we are working hard for you.
After the order deadline has closed all photos are archived. This means they have been removed from the online ordering website. Our ordering site limits us to a certain amount of space each month. We must remove past photo events to allow space for new ones. Please be mindful of ordering deadlines.
Yes, your code is unique to your student. Anyone with the code or link can place an order.
